Jack is a sculptural square pillar, a bold statement candle handmade from pure, chemical-free Northern Rivers beeswax, with a burn time of up to 100 hours.
How to burn Jack
As a square pillar, Jack burns differently from a traditional round pillar. Burn for 4–5 hours at a time, allowing the wax pool to reach the outer walls of the candle.
By the third burn, the walls will become thin while the corners remain standing. At this point, you can either gently bend the corners toward the flame and continue burning, allowing them to melt into the wax pool, or carefully snap them off and keep the wax for later use.
- Don’t blow your candle out. Instead, gently dip the wick into the wax pool to extinguish the flame, then stand it upright again. This primes the wick for the next burn and prevents it from becoming brittle.
- For an even burn, keep the wick trimmed to around 1cm.
